Weakest Link

Was anyone else irritated and amazed by the total lack of general knowledge of the so-called "celebrities" on the Weakest Link this evening? The questions were even easier than they usually are for proper contestants. I know it was for charity tonight, which is commendable, but I just don't know how they've got the nerve to stand up there and get such simple questions wrong time after time.

Anyone with any intelligence wouldn't go near one of those reality TV shows, so they did not qualify to take part in this episode.

I'd heard of Stan Collymore and John McCrirrick (not through any reality show they may have appeared on, mind you), but I'd never heard of any of the others. How can they call themselves celebrities? I couldn't believe some of the answers they were giving, and the questions they were passing on. They must be really proud of themselves.

I can't stand the programme so don't watch it anyway and I certainly don't watch celebrity versions of any quiz programmes. They just use them as a means of selfpromotion. I don't find them very entertaining at all. And thats my moan for the evening Jenny. :-)

I nearly always watch the Weakest Link, just to try and test myself on how quickly I can answer. I can't stand all the chit-chat between rounds, and wish they'd just get on with the questions. It can sometimes be mildly entertaining when someone gives a really crass wrong answer. I wont be watching any more with celebrity contestants after tonight, though. I got so angry about it, I nearly went off pop!!!

Remember the old definition of a Celebrity: someone who's famous for being famous...
