Just download the latest version of Firefox from here - version 32.0.2 is the most recent update. Select the English (British) or whatever one you need. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/ What is the problem you're having?

Firefox 2? I'm up to Firefox 32. Are you sure that's right?
Mozilla Firefox 2 is a version of Firefox, a web browser released on October 24, 2006!

Be warned : v32 may cause problems if you are in the habit of opening more than one tab at a time.

On two different machines - if you opened more than 4 tabs they all 'flickered ' in the top toolbar. on two machines running win 7 and win 8.

I 'upgraded' and then had to re-install back to v28 to get over this problem
I'm using v32.0.2 with 9 tabs open. No problems at all.
i use Pale Moon and don't have these problems nor the Chrome-like interface

Hi, many thanks Aquariel. Mozilla Firefox now installed, but i still keep getting the message "the proxy server is refusing connections". However my main problem is trying to enable javascript. One web site told me to go on to Mozilla Firefox version 2 and on the tools menu, click options. Than contents tab, click to select the ENABLE JAVASCRIPT BOX , click ok.click back one page and then click the reload current page. Yet on this Firefox the content tab refers to fonts. Where am I going wrong? All help again much appreciated, kind regards, Jonty.
They removed the Javascript box from the options, but it's still there, just hidden. To check if your Javascript is enabled, see this page:

It mentions Firefox 23, but the solution is still relevant to Firefox 32.
