Update For Sqad Re: Saliva Duct Blockage
1 Answers
Hi Sqad.
You were spot on with your advice and diagnosis when I was concerned that I had mumps. Every time I ate anything on Sunday one side of my face swelled and was very painful and then after a while, this subsided. I was all set to try and book in with my GP today!
I was drinking a cup of coffee this morning when suddenly, my mouth was flooded with a salty liquid. I mopped it up with tissues and when I looked, there were several tiny 'gravelly' white bits. I assume this could have been what was blocking one of my salivary ducts! Apart from occasional leaking of the salty stuff, everything is fine now-no pain or swelling just a wee bit of tenderness.
Thanks so much for your (as always) excellent advice :)
Best wishes, Maz xx
