Does Anyone Remember

Following on from a post a couple of days ago, does anyone remember The Wheeltappers and Shunters Social Club. No idea why it popped into my mind. Was it a show in its own right or was it part of a bigger show? Remember the chap who rang the bell - he always wore a bunnet and had what I can only describe as a lugubrious face.
