Yeh thanks. Used to have an old mgi version but it was quite basic. Will have to look at a newer one.
I saw that gagdet show and have had a quick look at picasso. On the show he tried out how easy it was to select and cut out items but i can't remember which was the easiest. Will have to look up the web site.

A Digital camera mag I have lists three "budget" products, Adobe Photoshop Elements, Ulead Photoimpact and Paint Shop Pro but they are all above your price point.
Many digital photo mags and PC mags give away trial or demo software on their cover CDs or DVDs, why dont you try a few of those to see what you like best.
