Ios8 Updating

My iPad Air has been updating iOS8 since this morning and it says underneath the rotating apps icon setting where I tapped for the updating to start that there is about 13 hours left.......is it going to take THAT LONG? When I updated my mini it took under 15 min.

How fast is your WiFi connection? You can just kill it and start again to see if there was some kind of hiccup.

I'd like to kill it......how do I do that Fitzer?

I forgot to say that although I can't judge how fast my WIFI is I've heard others complain about how slow it is here in Spain. I shall be going home on Sunday and am sure it will be faster there.

Help now it says I have about 19 hours left!?!!

I did mine via Itunes so no idea really, if it's just downloading then I'd just power it off

try to hard reset the device by holding the Home and Power button simultaneously till you see the screen goes blank and the Apple logo appears again

Will give that reset a try now I'll let you know.
