House plans

I'm trying to track down a set of house plans for a house built in scotland in 1922. I've tried the local council who can't help. Any suggestions?

Do you know who the architect was? and if they well regarded in their field?. I would ring the professional body for architects to see if the had any helpful ideas to assist in my quest.Have you tried the local newspaper archives for clues? An advert for the development or builder may have been placed with them!
