How To Put Photos From Computer On To A Disc

Could anyone please tell me an easy way to put photos from my computer on to a disc. We had a virus on our computer a few months ago and lost lots of pictures as we hadn't got them backed up. If anyone can help it would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I put a disc into the tray on my computer tower and it comes up as Drive ** (whatever it's called on your computer). I then go to my photos, right click on the ones I want to copy, select the copy option - then open the drive with the disk on, and click Paste.

Could depend upon what Operating System you have (Windows Vista; W7: or whatever)
