Hi all does anyone know what is the best face powder that covers up redness on your face? I have wasted lots of money countless foundations but finally found the right one, now i need a good face powder. I have tried demablend, mario de luigi, the best one i have tried is Benefit Get Even which is quite good but you can see it on my face and never lasts very long. I was thinking about trying Laura Geller Blance and Brighten, has anybody used it? Thankyou
Have you tried Kanebo? its a good cover but not sure just how much cover you need. id have thought dermablend would have been the best..sorry cant help more.
for hiding red tones on the face, you need a green based make up. Chanel does a green corrector as does Clarins, I know it sounds odd but it works.... get one of the girls to apply it for you and then go outside to check the colour in the natural light.
Hi i have already ordered a smashbox make up primer in green, i am just waiting for it to arrive to try it. I will let you know if it works, i have also got the right foundation for me. I just need a good face powder. Thankyou for your help so far i have been writing all the products down anyway for future references.
I think Mac studio fix powder is absolutely amazing, and lasts for ever! Unfortunately it only survives being dropped on the floor when Im a bit tipsy a couple of times :o)
The foundation i use is Max Factor colour adapt. Its quite good and lasts a long time. I have decided to order Laura Geller balance and brighten, from qvc you get to keep it for 30 days and if it doesnt work for you, you can send it back and get your money back even if you have used it. I will let you know if it works for me or not.
Hi all i got my smashbox make up primer this morning and it is great, it tones down the redness on your skin and makes your face so soft, your foundation goes on much more even. I found the primer goes on better after you moisturise your skin:)
Hi all
I bought the Laura Geller Balance-N-Brighten from e-bay a couple of weeks ago. I hated it. It clagged up my skin and covered it in a very patchy way - quite thick in places. I thought it would give a very light coverage, but it didn't - quite the opposite in fact. The best foundation I've used up 'til now is Max Factor intelligent colour. It feels so smooth when it's applied. Funnily enough I was about to post a question asking if anyone had found anything as good as this foundation - because I just fancied a change, as you do. So maybe the Max Factor colour adapt is the one to try.
hi all i got my balance and brighten on sat, and like it very much. Lizzy when you bought yours off ebay did it come with a laura geller retractable brush. Because i got mine off QVC and you get the brush included with it. The brush makes it go on very even and i found by using the brush it was very hard to make it build up on your skin. Just a thought. Anyway thanks everyone for all your help. Honey xXx
