im from the midlands, moved to essex when i was 11 but moved back up north just to play kirby!!! lol

Hopping Barge,

British Bulldog,

Chinese Handball,

Knockdown Ginger, (why it was called that, I never knew).

we used to play a form of british bulldog that we called 'decker' - i think we invented it in out school.

we would run from one side to the other and the 'deckers' would have to take each of the other players out as they ran across until all but one person was left as a non-decker. This person would typically be the hardest person in school.

It was great fun, we got mud all over our school uniforms, ripped garments, bruises and even a broken arm!

Those were the days...

The COAL game! It was amazing- each person had a territory which was theirs and theirs alone. In their territory were 5 pieces of coal. The aim of the game was to sneak into each others territory and steal their coal, so you ended up with as much as possible! You had to leave your comfort zone in order to enter someone elses, but while you were away theiving, your own territory could be being robbed. It was really exciting!
