had a recall from asda for my toaster and got a morphy richards instead ,it's a very good toaster .
my toaster matches my orange bucket. they sit together on the worktop.. lovely :)
On a good day he's magic...
Concernaed that while toaster dimensions reduce in general, the slot isn't wide enough for my Warburtons (other breads are available) 5 seed batch loaf.... very frustrating when it comes out crushed
Have any of you thought about making toast as it was done when I was young? You put the bread on the grill of the cooker, keep an eye on it and turn as and when. No worries about size or thickness and toast cooked to perfection in half the time. Wouldn't have another toaster if you paid me.
When I was young it was on a toasting fork in front of the fire...
when I was young, we had electricity !
Singing is OK but dancing is rubbish.
We didn't Anne it was the fire or gas..........
But today all gas and electric cookers come with a grill, so the only reason people can't make perfect toast is that they are too hippy lazy to stand in front of the grill for 60 seconds. That's all it takes.
I hate toasters. I always grill my toast now, and it tastes much better!
