I DO NOT BELIEVE IT !!!

I have just spent an hour watering the lawn - it looked so dry and unhappy after a really hard mow/raking yesterday - and no rain was forecast until at least Saturday.

I came in for a cuppa and ...

... it's now sluicing down outside - proper hard rain.

Got very dark here a few hours ago (In the icy, frozen smoglands of the People's Republic of Teesside), but we haven't had as much as a drop.
