I called in a favour for the French for "cheese munching surrender monkeys"
Hi Peter, ecrit un francais ....
Capitulard does existe in French but it is an old term not used anymore (and that personally I had never heard before). Surrender would be either qui se rendent, qui capitulent voire qui abandonne (to give up)
Munching does not have a straight forward translation in French as I believe it means eating but in a loud way , is that right? Grignoter or bouffer might be the closest in French.
So, altogether I would say les singes qui bouffent du fromage et capitulent
