Was in the loo at a well known supermarket this afternoon. Couldn't help overhearing a very strange conversation which seemed rather disjointed. While washing my paws I realised the conversation was still going on in a closed cubicle. Not a place I would choose to have a mobile conversation, but it certainly made me smile.
Both location and conversation amusing - for me anyway. Character assassination is the nearest description I can come up with. Some poor soul was not at all popular.
I went in a superstore loo the other day and in a very loud voice a lady in one cubicle was giving her friend in the next one a running commentary on her 'movements'., I didn't know whether to laugh or make a hasty exit! Luckily a cubicle came empty so was able to hide my giggles
before the days of mobiles, a work colleague attached herself to me like a limpet and would phone at all times of the day n night. She had her phone on an extension lead and regularly went to the bog during her 3-hour maudling moans about how badly life was treating her. After a few weeks I took to unplugging the phone after 8 pm.
