heres one for the girls i recently lost alot of weight and had to go shopping for some new clothes while on the spending spree of the centry i decided to get mmy bra size checked only to discover that i wasn't a 44dd like i thought but a 42E it came as a compleate surprise has any one else had this discovery ?

It is a well known fact that most women in the UK wear the wrong size bra ... unless they have appeared on Trinny and Susannah and been measured properly. There are some helpful sites on the web telling you how to measure yourself accurately eg. www.amplebosom.com

I've been told 2 different sizes by Pretty Woman & M&S who are renowned and respected for their bra measuring services. I generally wear the size i'm most comfortable in. Just shows you that the shops aren't necessarily always right.

I agree with shazbang, wear whatever size you feel comfy in, this could vary from shop to shop.

I have bras from M&S that fit perfectly but if I buy the same size from BHS (or somewhere else) it doesn't fit and I have to go up or down a size.

For years M&S told me i was a 36B and i was quite happy wearing it as it felt comfy and fitted. it wasnt until my mum (bless her!) dragged me to bravissimo to get measured as a joke that i found out that i was actually a 34FF. Now my bras fit perfectly and i have lost most of the back pain i had! I recommend them to any one who is well endowed up top!

Yes! That happened to me! I was a 36D, lost 25 pounds and now I'm a 34DD!!! I don't know which is worse....lol

It is a little known fact, and indeed may come as a shock to many ABers , but bobtheturkey is an expert on bra sizes. i know this because he conducted a survey that produced some amazing responses and detailed results.
