Erratic Screen

as my pointer passes over the screen on my laptop it is randomly selecting things (highlighting), clicking and dragging, screen size flicking from one size to another and problems when typing. My antivirus gives me the all clear so what mite the problem be ?

go to your settings and decrease the sensitivity of your mouse.
