When they're talking at the same time I struggle but individually I can understand them fine.

I spent my life being a translator for my dad and uncles and we're Tipp. The accent is nowhere as thick as Cork/Kerry.

My FIL is a real struggle to understand. Even his son struggles to understand him at times.

This is a bit like those Rab C Nesbitt TV programs........I never understood what on earth was going on until I discovered that you could watch them with sub-titles !
