Daughter At A Gig

Sorry – can’t find a category for this so have gone for ChatterBank.
I bought 2 tickets (originally for my daughter and me) to see a band at Wembley Arena early next year; these are for the ‘general admission’ area, ie the one where you stand in front of the stage. She has a new friend who’s a big fan of the band and I’ve suggested she should have my ticket – I’ll still go down there to make sure they’re OK before/after the gig.
Both girls will be 15 at the time of the gig, but we’ve just discovered that if you’re under 16 you must be accompanied by an adult to be in the general admission area.
The event is sold out, so the only way I could accompany them would be to try to get a ticket via Ebay or, heaven forbid, a tout, and lord knows how much that could cost.
Are they strict on the age thing?

From what I have seen (and I`ve been to an awful lot of gigs), nobody takes much notice. It depends if they are mature looking 15 years olds, I suppose. Once they open the doors there are so many people pouring in that I doubt they would be challenged.

As far as access is concerned, there should be no problem

As others have advised, there will be such a crush that ages are not checked.

Just make sure the girls have a mobile each, with each other's numbers, and your number programmed in, should they get separated.

Make sure they have secure bags with them - a zip or clasp top is best, and that they take as little money as possible with them.

Other than that, they should be fine.
