Font Sizes

I am using windows mail on a Acer laptop. when I am typing an email .the font size i am using say 14 or 13 keeps slipping down to an 8. much to tiny.

Where am I going wrong ?

How are you changing the font size? If it's by simply changing the number in the drop-down list, try going via Tools > Options instead:

Thank you very much .I was just using the drop down menu as you said I will try tools next time
