Do you have any more information? Is he likely to still be alive? How famous was he?

Question Author
As far as I am aware he is still alive. A few years ago he was making an album and Bob Harris played one of his tracks on his country show on BBC radio 2. I tried several times to contact the show but they always send a stock reply saying they can only deal with a few queries. I have the right name and have only ever found one reference to him, but that was really only a one line confirmation to say that he exists and is a country singer. I have never had a situation like this before where I have tried to buy a cd by someone who doesn't appear to exist. I took a print-out of the one website that I have previously mentioned, which is just as well as it no longer exists. If I didn't have the paper record in front of me I could be forgiven for thinking I had imagined the whole thing.
here's a list off Bob Harris programme with surname of Burns ( no Tel)
