No Bibs ! I just thought that her fans might appreciate some details of her funeral, thats all. I see that there was another wicker casket...getting very popular these day, which I am glad to see.
Ah mikey, a simple but classy funeral. All those faces from the past.

Couldn't agree more Elina. My Uncle had a woodland burial a few years ago, with a wicker casket. I had never seen one before and it looked beautiful. The whole ceremony was very simple. We all stood around in this beautiful part of Devon and a few people said a few words and then we all went to the village Pub !

One year later we were able to plant a sapling over his burial site and we chose a cherry tree, which looks marvelous in blossom. I have been to so many, too many, awful Crematorium affairs and the woodland one was like a breath of fresh air. My Uncle was a very keen bee-keeper and he would have loved the idea of bees feeding on his cherry tree !
Sounds beautiful mikey. The more I hear of these humanist funerals, the more appealing they sound to me.
ah, the well known composer/singer of "Vote Tory, Tory, Tory/For election glory"!

That is too young, though I suppose a 20-year-old wouldn't think so.
That does sound lovely, Mikey. I think I'd like that for me and my family. All the most recent funerals in my family have been grim crematorium affairs. So depressing when the coffin trundles off past the closing curtains.
