Sweet & Sour Sauce Stain

Hello, someone has chucked sweet & sour sauce on my garage door which has dried solid. I've tried stain remover, good old fashion bicarbonate of soda with vinegar and it won't budge at all. If we pick it it will take the white pvc off as well. It looks awful and its a new door too!! Any ideas? I'd so appreciate some help.

I removed a stubborn stain from the plastic inside of my fridge using cillit bang crystals. It comes in a purple tub with the instructions on the side, but be careful as it can burn your skin!
