Five weeks ago Tilly posted a thread about a very interesting item of equipment to reduce one's mid-driff and give one a general tone-up. I informed our dear friend that I had bought one and, in due course, would report back.

Please couple this posting to :-

I am very impressed with the Twister and whilst a troublesome knee is causing me some difficulty,(Cartilage op some 60yrs ago), my dear wife is doing really well. She is now able to wear trousers which had become too tight for comfort and her tum feels to be somewhat firmer. However, whilst I am Not being given weight details by my 'better-half' it's a matter of a Hans on assessment.

Hi Hans following my question yesterday on fitness I've just ordered one myself so I too will see what happens! At this rate AB is going to be full of toned hunks and hunkesses with 29 inch waists!
Does it mean you can eat twice as much without any side effects then?

*hopeful!*
Is a 29" waist considered small for a female then retro?
I have had a waist that size for a few years now and always thought it was quite big. I'm a size 12 now but until about 4 years ago was a size 8 and am struggling to come to terms with my increase in size. I know i'm not huge and not even overweight at 9st, but when you have been one size since your teens to early 40s it's a bit of a shock to the system :-/

@B00... I am Not a Dietician but I would imagine that you could eat twice as much; providing you 'Triple twisted' on the Tilly Thingy. :-)

Hans.
Daffy 28 -29 inch waist is supposed to be a size 10 trouser, I know that as I've been trying on trousers today and was annoyed I had to go with a 12 (30-31'') instead of the usual 10 -hence the buying of the twister and no more chocolate until I can get back into 10's.
Two inches from waist and hips here despite being in North America for the last eight days. Keep twisting on the Tilly thingy, folks.

PS. I do not have shares in the company. :-)
wow, and those are American inches, Tilly? Well done.
Tilly how long do you go on for and how many times a day/week?
Excuse me Hans, welcome back Tilly, I hope you had a lovely time
Are American inches bigger then, jno?

Retro, three hundred twists, twice a day. I find it easier to count than to time myself.

Thanks, sibs. It was an enjoyable holiday. Good to be back though.
.........everyday.
How does the thing work?
everything is bigger in America, Tilly, especially if you were in Texas.
Paddy, have a look at the link that Hans has provided. It's all on there.

No, not in Texas, jno. I was in the blue areas, rather than the red areas.
they have smaller but cheaper gallons there, but I don't know about their inches.

jno - aint that the truth .

I remember our first visit to Florida - we stopped off at KFC on our way back from somewhere - looked at the menu and it said as i recall something like medium /standard /large
So we chose medium - there was so much that it was enough to feed the five thousand - we assumed that the large would have been able to stamp out world hunger
By the way the KFC was not the same as over here - i remember it being fatty and not nice

@jno...There is a story about a Texan who was on a coach tour around London who kept telling the guide that everything which was pointed-out had something to correspond but was was bigger in Texas.

Passing Buckingham Palace the Yank enquired " What's that Building" and was told by the tour guide..."Oh that is just one of our Council Houses".

Hans.
We saw some very big people on our holiday......and some very thin people.

I bought a size 10 pair of Not Your Daughter's Jeans...............yeah!
