Would you allow your child to be caned if unruly at School?

OG...you have just made me stop and imagine how I would feel if I was persuaded to find a child and beat it with a stick.....

Disturbed, unsavoury and dirty....I think.

My mum said that if you're going to hit your child hit them as a punishment, not because you've lost control. It's mainly people that have lost control that hit, imo.

I feel sorry for the amount of fathers that came home from work and were presented with a child that needed punishing.

I completely disagree with caning but there needs to be something more than where we are now. Teachers should not be at risk in the classroom and kids do need to understand and learn what discipline is and how to foster the levels of self discipline they will need in society... just a viewpoint
