Who And How Do You Get Solicitors To Do Pro Bono Work Against Police
We have been told by the IPCC we should get a solicitor that specialises in crimes against the police......we are pensioners and all we have is our savings to live on....is there an organisation that we can contact that can help us with legal fees. We have good evidence that our police force mislead us regarding historical sex abuse investigation and when the IPCC was contacted by the PSD they decided within hours this needed investigation. Can anyone advise please..

The IPCC advises that they believe there is a case of serious misconduct by the police – and advises you to get a solicitor.
Have you asked the IPCC what they believe the purpose of their organization is?
I would not take it as read that they intend to carry out an investigation – unless they have specifically advised that they will.
