How To "desludge" Over Watery Rice
9 Answers
I've used too much water and ending up with a vegetable rice pudding as I chopped some spring onions and tomatoes and threw them in the pot.
How can I get rid of the excess water and restore the rice to it's original single grain consistency and while we're at it how do you make the perfect rice? When I use too little water it burns and when I use too much it becomes rice pudding.
What's the answer?
Thanks in advance. :)

I have a lidded plastic bucket type thing specifically for doing rice in the microwave, it always comes out absolutely perfect, I'd never go back to boiling it. And I use Tilda rice, a bit more expensive but I think it's worth it.
