I didn't read the question properly. It asks for the first ever question and not your first question. Sorry
I looked at the '2000' AB, and got a real rush of nostalgia - especially when I clicked on the Music section and saw all the feature material I worked on back in the day.

Ab Editor - I remember that when the site went 'live', it was obviously not a good idea for it to be blank, so each Section Producer was asked for a series of random questions - with answers - for their own section, and these were posted simultaniously on the first dau.

So, there is no definitive 'First Question' because everyone's section had Questions on it when the site started up.
typical, two of the first three answers identical, both plagiarised without attribution. No wonder no Best Answer was awarded. And then the fighting and swearing started and everyone had to be thrown out.

when they submitted their copy, they had to have a man walking in front of them waving a red flag.
