"Is it wise...?" Well, I suppose anything that stops the shooting and violence is acceptable. But, is it a long-term solution to the problem? As long as rebels, who seem to be better-armed and better-organised than the government, are able to threaten to destroy the status quo - in whatever country - then problems such as this will continue to arise.
