Last week, the police in this area said they would Tweet and Facebook all incidents that occurred within 24 hours and people could take part and ask questions. It went ok until one person asked why the police helicopter was hovering over their street. The reply was that the helicopter had not been deployed anywhere. The poster said he could read the registration on the side but the big clue was that it said Police on it. The police insisted that it had not been deployed and didn't respond to any further tweets or posts about it. So much for public involvement eh?
