Ipad Surface Wearing Out?
5 Answers
My iPad is about three years old and is very slow to respond when I tap the surface .
I have turned it upside down and it is now much quicker.
Could part of the surface have 'worn out'?

When I upgraded to iOS 8 safari seemed really slow. Online I found a solution that seems to have speeded everything up. Open safari and then open 6-7 pages so that you have 6-7 tabs open at the top. Pinch them in and they will appear as separate windows. Tap one of them to open that page and it should speed up. Turn off completely and turn on again. It speeded mine up I also passed this tip onto a friend & he reckons his has speeded up also.
Sounds as though the screen is worn out and time for a new ipad ... luckily enough they have just started tumbling in price today as the new one is out soon ... have a look at this bargain

have you got a screen protector on it? if you have thenthis may need replacing, also is your screen or screen protector clean? a build up of dirt can slow things down. third point do you makes sure you close all apps from time to time? double click quickly on the button beside the screen and you will see all the apps that you have got open. flick eack app upwards to vlose it then restart the ipad.
