Truro: It Must Be Saturday Night.

It must be Saturday night.
I went into Truro to pick up some takeaway, F&C and Chinese noodles from two places.
18.55 and there on the main road in, near the crematorium, was a woman walking on the side of the road towards Newquay, brown hair - I think, big swinging of the arms, no torch or light, dress - well, here we get interesting. She had on what looked like multi-coloured tie-dyed pants and that was it - yes at 7 in the evening, we were a mile out of Truro, striding it out and we were topless........
I thought that I was seeing things or been watching too many porn movies this afternoon (which I hadn't). Got too the chippie and mentioned it, the customer next to me saying that she had seen it too.
Called the police, not because she was topless but it's really dangerous to be walking on the verge up there......
What scenarios for being undressed like this can you come up with?

It had been said it was a busy road but hey let's not let any facts get in the way of a good story ...
Not long after I moved here, I was driving down my street early one morning, and coming in the opposite direction was a wheelie-bin lorry. I stopped because it was blocking the road, and glanced to the left to see a lady stood at her window with her thrupenny bits completely exposed and dangling for all to see. I'm sure she was displaying them to the wheelie-bin lads.
It did make we wonder if we'd moved to some sort of 'swinging' area, but fortunately I've never seen anything like it since.

just read this and agree with DTC - very dangerous to suddenly stop on that bit of road same as round here. you did the right thing. I only ever see other cars and tractors on my way to truro . I know the students get up to all sorts but I've never seen anything like that. i'll keep a look out in the local news.
