You Have To Have Eyes In The Side Of Your Face
Do bikers have a death wish - is it really that important to save a few seconds by for example , swerving in and out of traffic or coming up in the driver's blind spot ?
Case in point - just been waiting at a junction in a left turning lane - just happen to notice a biker positioning himself on my nearside/blind spot .
If i hadn't seen him i could easily have pulled away, turning left , and colliding with him/her .

One moment they appear in the rear view mirror...then they get into the door mirror field of view...then back behind the car, and so on. I appreciate that they are probably lining up to overtake which I have no problem with, I try to keep right over to the left if possible.
Afternoon, Baz.....I love driving....enjoy the odd trip on a motorbike and I am enjoying my cycling.....
I can honestly say the only problems I ever encounter....maybe I'm just lucky....are with motorists.....
Of course we all make mistakes...or do the wrong thing.....but it's motorists who really seem to dislike any other road users....xx

Okay, Baz.....you win......some must have a death wish so apologies...☺
Driving through Kettering tonight.....dreadful roads, few street lights and pouring rain....my headlights picked up a flash of white....
I stopped but coming towards me was the biker.....almost in the centre of the road...dark clothes..and no lights on!
I was pulling towards the right hand lane...so a little faster and I would have hit him.
I flashed....the car following him flashed....did he notice? Not a bit of it.....but thank god for his L plate that caught my lights and made me aware of him.....☺
