Same here, Lard....when the police were knocking on doors in my close....never have I got the slap on so quickly......batted the eyelashes as I opened my door......a woman!..... :-(

When they came around my local area a few weeks ago, two VERY hunky gorgeous young men came in and fitted two smoke alarms. They were VERY nice but , unfortunately, about 40 years too young for me. Ah well, I can dream eh??

that I have a fire extinguisher and a fire blanket. There's no pleasing some people.
