methyl, they are brilliant at extracting all the good juices from the residue of blending......and good for making coulis, as well as being a back-up sieve.
God bless Eccles' kitchen,
She love its every nook,
And bless her Lord as she does her work,
Wash the pots and pans and even cook,
And may the meals that she prepares,
Be seasoned from above,
As the Eccles lot partake of earthly food,
Thy table for them spread,
We'll not forget to thank the Mouli so dead
Who gave her daily soup with bread,
So bless Eccles' kitchen,
God and those who enter in,
May they find but wine, soup and peace
And happiness within
Methyl - you got a Mouli-mixer to blend babyfood in the 60's (and 70's). It's a sort of hand-powered mechanical sieve. (I'm assuming that Eccles has a similar affair.)
