That's what I thought but I don't understand the word play at the end- the 'pass dealer' bit. Does that give the definition?

Thanks. Yes, I know the diamonds = ice, but I didn't know that a 'pass dealer' was a ticket seller.
I don't like several aspects of this clue

Sorry FF but I found it quite simple.

Well you're an expert at these danny whereas I just dip in and try to learn.
I didn't know that auditor indicated 'sounds like' but I guessed it must do.
I can see "tick it off" sounds like "ticket off" but I couldn't see how "ice sounds like the 'iss' at the end of "off" but now realise the 'sounds like' bit ends after 'ticket', so it's simply 'ticketoff' + ice.
Also, I also didn't know what a 'pass dealer' was, but I do now so thanks for that.
Maybe I'll find them as simple as you do one day.
I wonder if the clue should have had some punctuation

On line there is a comma after the word box, but could probably do with another comma after the word diamonds.

Thanks. I think the one after box is sufficient and I think I'd have found it easier to follow if it had been included
