Do you purposefully tune into anything or do you tend to switch on more for background whilst doing jobs?

Are audience figures in general on national stations increasing or dropping does anyone know?

Indeed Tonyav ;-)
Pathetic if you ask me ag/tony. Just wish he'd let 'the callers' get a word in edgeways.

I find Steve Claridge the same, he's like a schoolboy on helium. He never shuts up even when a team is breaking away and threatening to score! Ron Atkinson was another!
Agree with both of you cap'n and ag.
A caller once said to Collymore about Lampards goal..."He hit that sweeter than you hit Ulrika"
ouch !

Do you think some of the tv football commentators who have come from radio are guilty of forgetting that we have eyes and can see what is happening.
They describe the action as if they are still on radio.

I'm thinking of the likes of Jonathan Pearce.

Oh come on ,no one listen to Planet Rock ,I listen as much as I can I am pleased to say I have 2020 hearing and my Eye Sight is Pardon.
Nothing wrong with some Rock to get you going.
You've beaten me inamo!!!
Clarke Carlisle has got to be the worst pundit, he'd send a glass eye to sleep with his nasal drone
Question Author
Clarke must be an erudite sort though, he's been on Question Time you know!
My preferred stations are XFM, Absolute, Radio 2 and Classic - depends on my mood. When I'm (driving) on my own, I usually listen to a CD. I only really have the radio on to listen out for traffic info.
When I'm in the kitchen I am a great supporter of local radio and that means Radio Jackie.
