The succesful outcome depends mostly on the quality of the laminate. You should try, however, drying the swelled part along with as much pressure as you can apply to it. I would recommend a heavy weight placed on several layers of newspapers to not only squeeze the moisture out but to have an absorbent material on it as it dries...
