Good morning everyone - much cooler here after a lovely flashy thunderstorm last night and some nice rain...I'm enjoying it !!

quite a bit of movement at HQ as well, as several people came to terms with Kate's waywardness -

Lovely to report there was a STAR TURN - 6 Points for three correct went to ROCKFORDILL, plus another awarding of the Way Out and Slightly Wacky prize and for the second week in a row, it's gone to TWIX123 for selecting Under Coat !!

Happy to say, I've dragged myself away from the bar and out into the sunshine, it was getting embarrassing to say the least, and a whole lot of other players did likewise as you'll see on the big printout which follows.

Next Saturday brings a new month and a new game so all hands on deck for that when we reconvene, till then stay safe and warm....skz

Can you please enlighten me as to how the points are scored?
Is it two for each correct match and something else if no other person guesses???? Or are there bonus points the more correct matches????

Hi cannylad ...
The scoring goes like this ...

One point for one correct,
Three points for two correct
Six points for three correct
Ten points for four correct

In addition, we recently added a bonus system for a player picking what I determine to be an 'unusual match' ie today's match of 'under coat'. Twix selected this and was awarded two bonus points in addition to one point for a correct match.

I hope that clarifies the scoring for you, I realise it's a bit unusual but I try to give out as many points as I can.
