I doubt it,
I wouldn't tell them anything. Just hire someone you're happy with and hand your notice in to this one. It's nobody else's business. I'm assuming he's not been sectioned- so it's entirely up to you.
What's L/A?

You can do what you want, Jeza. It's your money. When my grandad kept having accidents (falling over, eating the wrong food, having hypos) we were advised by SS but that was it....just advice.

No pixie he is not sectioned. Most of the time he is of sound mind though he does get confused now and again.

Umm L/A local authority.
I didn't think he was- just qualifying my answer, really. Do you know of anybody else who uses an agency? Word of mouth is best. Or even ask the carers - they sound the sort to tell you the best competitors;-)
They don't sound very professional Jeza, using a common reference of "bums" in a relative's hearing. You may be ok with the term but I'm sure others, especially the elderly generation may be offended (my Mum certainly would have been)
I'm sorry that you are still having problems with this ruddy shower Jeza.
I would have thought that any Carer would be able to walk and chew gum at the same time. Bums and shaving are hardly open-heart surgery after all.

My sympathies are with you and I wish there was some way that I could help you and poor Mic.
Jaza, be careful, you could "burn yourself out" I would contact the L./A & explain that you need carers that are able to do what you require, if they can't do no bother sending them, it's a straight forward request.
Well I can't believe they employ anyone who won't actually do the job they are employed to do.
I can believe it.
Been there Ummmm, had 2 come on a overnight stop that thought that they could only watch the TV, I got in the following morning to find the service user's hands / face covered in excrement, I blew up, told them to go & reported them, they were sacked as a result.
