Here's One For M & S Shoppers..

In the past I have bought Turkey Breast with a cheese and leek topping. It was in the chilled cabinet and in a tin foil dish. In the oven for ½ an hour...delicious. I have tried to replicate this with no success. The topping always slides off and melts. Does anyone know if they still sell it? M & S is a good way from me and I would hate a wasted journey.

When you tried to replicate it how did you make the topping?

Sorry for the delay.Grated cheese, chopped the leeks finely mixed together binded them together with a little egg.

I would try it with some breadcrumbs and refrigerate for an hour or so.

I looked on M&S website and can't see your dish in the main meals.

Try to cook again .. maybe if you add breadcrumbs to the grated cheese ..if you use supermarket cheddar it will turn to to yuk (does same thing in toasted cheese maker). I'm lucky have a specialist cheese shop In buntingford. Exam might be good or hours if you want a good cheesy taste.
