when a song is sung by more than one singers, we usually find that they use "featuring" between the names~~~i.e. "Stan(live)" Eminem feat. Elton John~~~

why use "featuring" here? what's the exactly meaning of it?

It just means that the song features that artist. The artist is one aspect of the song. Is English not your first language?

what i dont think i understand, it says that the song features elton john because he did a live version at an awards night like the brits a few years where elton did dido's part of the song.

if your just asking why featured is used it means that its the main artists song but the other person (elton john) has an active singing part in the song hence eminem featuring elton john
