That really is quite a despicable response Peter.

I spent a good part of my life working in a building named after Turing, we had the utmost respect for his work.

PP's totes wrong. Alan wasn't effeminate, although he was gay. He apparently didn't do any 'pansying about', but was an athletic good-looking bloke who was happily into other blokes, but was sadly born at the wrong time for this to be acceptable.
However I really do think Manchester Council could have thought on a bit before planning Alan Turing Way to lead into Queensway.
