for the past couple of days unable to access emails on ipad says unable to connect to server, all is ok on laptop. have been into settings and all appears ok. any help would be appreciated.

Do you mean your default email account i.e. The ones you access by tapping the envelope button?

Have you gone into settings and tapped 'mail / contacts / calendar' to check your account?

Common problem. Best thing is to go to settings then e mail, then delete the info then re enter the details and all will be well. Happened to me twice in the past three months. Cant say why this works but it does.good luck.

Try turning off completely leave for a minute then turn on again. It may reset something!
