I don't know the answer to the question but I do know that Hollyoaks frequently uses music by loads of different popular bands as can be seen if you visit the Hollyoaks website.

I don't know if it was this song but they sometimes use a Snow Patrol song called 'grazed knees' for the sad bits.

ok found out which episode it was,

30th march, called "just, a crush"

still can't find the song!!

The only thing I can think of doing is waiting: Hollyoaks often plays the same music, so chances are within a couple of weeks the song will have featured again.
