Can anyone suggust decent laptop to buy? don't do spreadsheets etc, but things like photos, letters and posters, email, buying goods on line, links to things like holiday, answer bank etc.

Any laptop will do if that is all you want to do with it.

Just go to a well known shop (Argos, Tesco etc) and buy a laptop for around £300 (or less) of a well known make (HP, Lenovo, Toshiba etc), or buy online from say Dell.

There are hundreds to choose from so it is hard for anyone to suggest one.
