I see they're all sold out now.
We bought one a number of weeks ago and are looking forward to receiving it at some point. I'm just wondering where and how I'm going to display it though, they're quite tall and I would imagine the flower head is quite heavy.
If you've bought one, how are you going to display it?

Ah engineering works then, jno. Yep should have been a bit better planned then.
I've bought two and they will start to be posted out, hopefully, at the end on this month and most people can expect to receive theirs in the New Year. I intend to put mine in a flowerpot at my back door when it can be seen from both the kitchen and the dining room.

The problem this week has been half term too, lots more visitors generally in London, and visiting the poppies.
The London evening standard says they come in three heights, between one and two feet high. I can't find anywhere where it says you only get the flower head though, I hope you get the whole thing.
£11 million raised, wonderful :)
I thought I would put mine in a 'bud' vase and then add some greenery from the garden, but I guess that might not work if the poppy head is too heavy. I think that I would have to cut the stem anyway otherwise it would probably overbalance.
I haven't decisded what to do with mine either. To keep it in the box or to put it on display.

Maybe i shall bring it out at this time of the year and the keep it safe again for the other 11 months. If it does have its stem then I might display it in a tall vase or pop it in with an indoor pot plant.

Acording to my email, dispatch begins in November and due to the volumes, might take until the New Year to complete.
Really wanted to go but do not know London and do not think I could cope with such large crowds.
I will put mine In an existing flower arrangement.
I've ordered three. I shall just lay them on the windowsill in an artful fashion.
If I did that, my dog would ensure that they would soon end up on the floor in an unartful manner.
