St John's wort and the Pill

Is it true that taking St john's Wort means the pill doesn't work?

I've read articles saying it can interfere with the effectiveness of the pill. Then I've seen rebuttals saying that's rubbish. I'd play it safe...try a Bach Flower Remedy for similar effects to SJW (try Boots herbal medicines guides).

The doc wont precribe it 4 u if you are taking st johns wort. It renders it not very effective. Chemical reactioon, thats why. Look it up on the net!
