Micorsoft pop-up

Every now and again when using IE, I get a little box come up on my toolbar with the misspelling Micorsoft Internet, which then disappears after a few seconds. Clicking on it doesn't open a window or do anything obvious. What is it, is it dangerous and how do I stop it?

Never mind, sorted it out. It looks like it's just adware, not spyware. If anyone else has a problem with it, I recommend downloading Spybot Search & Destroy from http://security.kolla.de - that'll sort it out for you.
