Just 2 miles from my house. We are the nearest town and have the nearest pub. People living beside the barracks have been scared to go out. A friend of mine was working at the barracks in the kitchens, now he and all the other civilian workers have been escorted off the site and told their jobs are gone. Soldiers from Scotland have been to do the jobs as they say they can not guarantee civilians safety.
This lot have been out of control since they arrived. Remember they rioted because they were told they couldn't to to Tesco to buy a load of alcohol back in the summer. When they eventually did they spent £1,000 on alcohol and caused more havoc. The agreement was that Lybia fund the training and they haven't paid a penny. Now our troops are having their leave stopped so they can help the police to control them. They are queuing up to claim asylum.
