jordy gets fed every night 5.15 when pointless comes on he paws me to tell me its time,and i thought this is great he knows when pointless is on,then on monday he was pawing me and getting a bit agitated jordy says i its only 4.15 yes says my wife but he didnt know the clocks went back,this is true and he is now being fed at 4.15 and gives me a sad look when pointless comes on as if to say anymore.

Our dogs do the same but we don't have TV on 5.20pm on the dot they both carry their bowls and drop them at my feet. One of my dogs hates the steam iron and if I think about getting the iron out he will go and bark at the cupboard where the iron is stored before I even stand up, they really must have inbuild mind reading skills!

I had the dog and the cat glaring at me in the kitchen about 4 pm on Sunday waiting to be fed. They know nothing of GMT!

The dog I had as a youngster told the time by television theme tunes. For example, he knew that when the 'Z Cars' theme was played at the end of the programme it was time for walkies and he'd go into a frenzy. However the theme tune was also played at the start of the programme, so we'd have to rush to turn the sound down then to stop him deciding it was already time to go out. (If we didn't, one of us would have to miss 'Z Cars' because he wouldn't calm down until he got his walk).

Yes, Isla has forgotten to turn her bodyclock an hour back, and the cat's senile in any case, so they are both stomping around the kitchen at 3.30pm!

Both my dog and my cat were glaring at me (cat tapping claws on worktop) at what would have been their normal dinner-time. I've moved it forwards 5 mins per day and will continue to do so until their little tums are organised.

Mr Harv just knew it was dinner time when I said "chicken" - nearly knocked me flying most of the time.

Tilly has an inbuilt dinner time clock too. It's not so bad when the clocks go forward but when they go back, she's a right pain. :-)

My cats are fed on demand ie constantly so not much difference - it's the time they claw and purr and make general nuisances of themselves wanting me to wake up that is horrendous with this clock change. Forget the extra hour in bed in the morning.

Max used to come and wake me for his morning walks about 06.00,Trish used to think it funny when the clocks were changed and Max would come round to wake me up for his walk when his body told him it was time.

We have 10 dogs and because they are all rescue and sanctuary pooches we don't have the issue with their body clocks. They get fed every day between 17:00 and 20:00.

My dog, Toby waits until he hears the Neighbours theme tune twice and then the end of Pointless. He then stares at me because he knows I will take him out for a walk then.

Jordyboy9: No I'm not a breeder. I have a very biased and strong opinion of breeders - I don't like them. We have far too many dogs in this country without people breeding them for financial purposes. We, my family and I, run a dog rescue and rehabilitation. Our dogs live in the house and are fed better than I am.
